Whoo! It’s that time of year — the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, in which I always buy the things I would buy anyway….only for less! With that, I’m sharing 10 things I love that are totally worth buying at Nordstrom Anniversary Sale prices. But hey, feel free to find your own favorites. There is a lot on sale this year.

1. The absolute best t-shirt bras. If you search our site, you’ll see I share this Natori Underwire T-Shirt Bra every single year because every year, I legitimately stock up. If you’re larger-breasted like me, and the only padding you need is for nipple coverage, not more boobage, it’s absolutely perfect. Fits true to size and you CANNOT HAVE TOO MANY. Promise. 1.5 Bonus: Find the absolute best slightly sexier bra, also from Natori. Their Feathers Plunge T-Shirt Bra provides surprisingly good lift, support and coverage, but still feels sexy. ($47.99 on sale, regularly $72)
2. The best pajamas for hot sleepers. I’m not a nightgown person, but I tend to get hot in PJs. When I discovered the Moonlight Short Pajamas… problems solved! I do own a couple of the long pant Moonlight pajamas for cold nights and these are just as great. Super comfy, they wash well, and they uh…cover my butt. That’s important to me but YMMV. Seven great colors to choose from. ($43.99 on sale, regularly $65)
3. Mules you’ll want to live in. I’ve written before about Dolce Vita shoes making the most shockingly comfortable heels, and now they have a low-heel version of my clog-style mule called the Havan Loafer Mule. Love the camel suede for fall (their suede holds up beautifully), but the silver distressed leather is so chic, and the black crinkled patent leather goes from casual to dinner date in a snap. ($79.99 on sale, regularly$125)
4. A 3-season cashmere scarf that will travel with you everywhere. I love my Nordstrom cashmere scarf so much, but I might have loved it a little more at Nordstrom Anniversary Sale prices! I travel with it everywhere because it’s extra wide and can double as a wrap around my shoulders on chilly airplanes or unexpectedly cold restaurants. The grey is going fast, but the black is classic too if you can grab it in time. ($99 on sale, regularly $155)
5. The best mascara you’ll ever own. I admit, the Chantecaille Faux Cils Longest Lash Mascara is dumb expensive, which is why every year, I wait for it to go on sale at Nordstrom. They sell a two-pack (yes, you will want two) for a price that makes it 33% less dumb expensive. It smells divine thanks to rose oil, nourishes your lashes with peptides, and does good things for the environment. (Truly, I love this brand.) It looks so gorgeous on, that when I put it on with no other eye makeup, my teen daughter was like, “mom! What did you do to your lashes!” So there you go. ($109/2 on sale, regularly $156 — exclusive to Nordstrom)
(I will give you a free tip though: If you are not the type to spend a ton on cosmetics, I’ve recently discovered Maybelline’s Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara and you know? For about $10 on sale on Amazon right now, it’s pretty fantastic. We’ll have more Prime Day deals coming tomorrow so stay tuned for those. )
6. The best light-up makeup mirror. Years ago, I bought an older model of the Simple Human 8-Inch Sensor Rechargeable Tabletop Mirror and it’s still going strong. The light is bright — really close to sunlight — and holds a charge for a good 6 weeks in my experience. And I love the fact that I just look into it and the sensor kicks in and it lights up, shutting off automatically when I step away. So no wasted electricity. Just know it’s a 5x magnifying mirror. Which means no excuses if you walk out with lipstick on your teeth, ha. ($140 on sale, regularly $200)
7. Ultrasoft, luxe towels, for an instant bathroom upgrade. If you’ve been meaning to change up your bath towels, the Organic Hydrocotton 6-Piece Towel Set gets unanimous 5-star ratings from customers, they’re plush and soft, and comes in really elegant hues. Change up your towel colors, and it’s like getting a whole new bathroom. (Kind of.) There’s also a 4-piece set of towels if that suits your needs better. Pass the old ones down to your summer campers or college kids. ($88.99 on sale, regularly $119)
8. An amazing new handbag and don’t make me pick for you. I’m trying to choose from among the handbags in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and I can’t pare it down! Meanwhile, they are literally selling out as I type so hurry if you find one calling our name.
Okay fine, if you insist: I’d go for the Longchamp Le Pliage Expandable Recyled Nylon Tote, above, which never goes out of style and lasts for decades. ($171.90, regularly $230) I do love the classic Le Pliage Tote, which is just $155 — though sadly, it’s not discounted. Maybe if you have some Nordy points to spend?
9. A new set of the best ankle socks you’ll ever own. Our household has gone full Bombas — everyone loves theirs, and wow do they last. Unfortunately, they rarely go on sale. So I was surprised to see a set of Bombas ankle socks on sale that actually come in great colors! If you don’t love the ones above, check out the neutral grey mix; and poke around for Bombas deals on 3-packs and other styles. (6-pack $56.99 on sale, regularly $86)
10. Leggings. With pockets. As God intended them. Once I discovered workout leggings with pockets I will never go back. Clearly I am not alone here, which is why the Zella’s Studio Luxe High-Waisted Pocket 7/8 Leggings are a Nordstrom best-seller, even at full price. There are four gorgeous colors available (this blue is sold out but love the others), and the waist is just the right height. Did I mention the pockets? ($49.99 on sale, regularly $79.)
